Atheist Billboards Vandalized In Sacramento Area
One of a collection of billboards just put up in the Sacramento area supporting atheist beliefs has been vandalized. The billboards were put up by the Sacramento Area Coalition of Reason to tell fellow nonbelievers they are not alone.
“This shows loud and clear just how necessary our message is, because prejudice against people who don’t believe in a god remains very real in America.” said Rachael Harrington, coordinator of Sacramento CoR.
Similar billboards have gone up in more than a dozen cities over the past year as part of a national campaign.
